Ian will be performing a couple of songs live on the KZSC 88.1 Radio show “Living in the 80’s” with “DJ Danny on the Radio” Tonight 8:30pm .

Ian will be on Santa Cruz Community television channel 27 tonight the 18th at 9pm on “Spilly Chile’s Bowl of Rocks #67” hosted by Sandra Leigh. It will be streaming live http://www.communitytv.org/schedule . It will be replayed on friday the 20th at 9:30pm,  weds the 25th at 9pm and friday the 27th at 9:30pm.

Chameleon Skin EP Release

I am pleased to announce the release of my debut EP Chameleon Skin, recorded at Gadgetbox Recording Studios, in Santa Cruz, CA and engineered by Andy Zenczak.

Going into the studio I spoke at length with Any Zenczak about how to capture the sound of my live performances, without it being a live EP. It was important for me to be able to capture the raw energy of my music and I feel that we achieved that.

Ian Bell Acoustic web site launch

I am pleased to announce the launch of my new website designed by Jon Cattivera at Sleepless Media with help from Jenn Gallacher.

The home page photo was taken by Elisa Swanson.

The backdrop for the blog and bio page is an oil on canvas that I painted called “Get to Church”, which was inspired by a story that Andy Zenzak told me about ditching church when he was a kid to go and see a Jackson Pollock painting at art gallery across the street. Andy owns Gadget Box studios where I recorded the “Chameleon Skin” EP. The other background photos are pictures I’ve taken on travels around the states.

In designing the website, I wanted to reflect the style of music that I write.
