At long last the New Album “Red Wine and Tears” was released on the 19th April 2013. As with everything in life this took longer than expected, however I believe it was worth the effort, and worth waiting for, I am very pleased with the results. “Red Wine and Tears” is a body of works that sat very close to each other for a long period of time, personally for me to have overlooked these songs and to have moved forward would have felt unstable in the grand scheme of building a musical catalog.
Red Wine and Tears” is a ten track album, I went back and forth about adding two more tracks and after hearing the completed first ten tracks I have settled on the number ten to be most satisfactory in future content.
Recorded at “Room Number 3” in Santa Cruz California in the Winter of 2012-13 “Red Wine and Tears” was then Mixed by Piper Payne at “Coast Recorders” in San Francisco and then Mastered by Michael Romanowski at his Mastering studio also in San Francisco. Dave Lohse took care of the album design, the cover art was painted but My self in 2012 which is approx 4’x4′ acrylic on canvas and was destined to be the cover of the LP even before recording had commenced, It hung on the wall in the studio while I recorded the tracks acting as a glue that bonded the Album together. Oasis took care of the Cd duplication and the album is distributed through CDbaby for a physical copy and download, also Amazon and itunes for downloads, one can listen to the whole Album on the player on the home page of the web site http://ianbellacoustic.com/index.php
